About Our Ingredients

Korintje Cinnamon is about twice as flavorful as the Ceylon variety. It is grown in Indonesia and it is the best quality cinnamon available anywhere.
Recent studies have determined that consuming as little as one-half teaspoon of Cinnamon each day may reduce blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels by as much as 20% in Type II diabetes patients who are not taking insulin.
Madagascar Vanilla There are over 150 varieties of vanilla orchids (there are 27 varieties in South Florida alone). Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla has a traditional flavor and is considered the best and most sought after vanilla. Artificial vanilla, called vanillin, on the other hand, simulates just one flavor component out of over 250 different flavor components found in natural vanilla. Vanillin is a by-product of the wood industry or is produced from petro-chemicals.
Our Nuts are the finest whole pecans and walnuts, chopped and toasted to a crunchy golden brown.
